I downloaded JTR from http://www.openwall.com/john/f/john-1.7.2.tar.bz2
and
patch from http://www.openwall.com/john/contrib/john-...2-all-7.diff.gz
unzipped all
then

run 'patch -p2 < john-1.7.2-all-7.diff'
run 'make macosx-x86-sse2'

I'm absolutely not into programming. I'm graphic designer.
I do not understand any terms about compiling !
Just I want, it's a version of john 1.7.2 compiled (with the jumbo
patch).
Did you successfully compiled JTR 1.7.2 "macosx-x86-sse2" (with jumbo
patch) on your macintel ?
Please, is there someone who can send me john patched and compiled ?
If I can't get want I need, I will use "passwordspro" on PC, at least
this great util, is very easy to use (GUI), no compiling
or boring things (finally how don't work) to do.

PS: Si y'a un francophone qui veut bien m'expliquer un peu, pourquoi
je n'arrive pas a compiler JTR + patch jumbo en mode
"make macosx-x86-sse2", merci de me le dire !. Je pige pas un mot de
vos termes techniques de compilation.
