I don't think it was even enabled for SSE2 as my cpu gauge showed only one core working. From MacOS X:

./run/john -test=5 -format:mssql
Benchmarking: MS-SQL SSE2 [mssql SSE2]... (2xOMP) DONE
Many salts:	10627K c/s real, 10627K c/s virtual
Only one salt:	6659K c/s real, 6672K c/s virtual

It was enabled on the 64-bit side.

../run/john_64 -test=5 -format:mssql
Benchmarking: MS-SQL [mssql]... (2xOMP) DONE
Many salts:	5980K c/s real, 3425K c/s virtual
Only one salt:	4879K c/s real, 3053K c/s virtual

Erik
